About Kyiv Stend

Kyiv Stend is a Ukrainian manufacturer of signs, nameplates, tactile Braille plates and information stands, in operation since 2007. Own production in Kyiv, delivery across the European Union. The catalogue covers over 2,500 models - from custom nameplates, information signs and prohibition signs to tactile Braille plates and consumer information corners. Products are manufactured to EN 17210:2021, ISO 7010:2019 and Directive (EU) 2019/882 - documentation available on request.

About the company

We started in 2007 in Kyiv as a workshop for made-to-order nameplates and signs. Over the years we grew into a production facility with our own equipment: UV flatbed printer, CO2 laser cutter, film plotter and CNC router. Everything is made in-house - no subcontracting, no intermediaries.

Since 2022 we have been shipping to EU clients directly. B2B customers in Germany, Poland, the Netherlands, France, Spain and Italy come to us for three reasons: EN 17210 / ISO 7010 compliance out of the box, single-unit minimum without setup fees, and a stable Ukrainian production cost base that is materially lower than Western European workshops for the same quality of substrate and print.

The catalogue lists over 2,500 stock models. In practice, most orders are made to a specific brief: non-standard sizes, corporate colours (Pantone / RAL matching), bilingual layouts, custom pictogram sets.

What we manufacture for the EU market

Three product lines are available for shipping across the European Union:

• Signs and nameplates - full range. Door signs and custom nameplates, room identification, wayfinding and information signs, ISO 7010:2019 safety signs and prohibition pictograms, tactile Braille plates to EN 17210:2021, WC and accessibility signage, office and reception nameplates. Substrates: PVC 3 mm, cast acrylic 3-10 mm, aluminium composite (ACM) 3 mm, high-impact polystyrene. UV-cured full-colour print or laser engraving.
• Plastic display pockets - by request. A4, A5, A6, A3 and DIN long formats in clear rigid PVC or PET-G, wall-mounted with 3M VHB double-sided tape. For notice boards, reception areas, retail shelves and office information walls. Not listed as a separate category in the EU catalogue - send your specification and we quote per project.
• Information stands - consumer information corners. Wall-mounted modular stands with 2-12 A4 / A5 pockets. Substrate PVC 3 mm or ACM 3 mm, with corporate branding printed in UV. Used in offices, clinics, schools, residents committees and industrial facilities.

Other product categories from our Ukrainian catalogue are not offered for EU shipping at this time - EU sales focus on the three lines above.

Production technology

All equipment is owned in-house - not rented, not subcontracted. This affects lead times and quality control at the same time.

EU standards our products meet

Products supplied to EU clients are manufactured in accordance with the following standards:

• EN 17210:2021 - Accessibility and usability of the built environment. Functional requirements for tactile signage, contrast, mounting height and typography of accessible signs.
• ISO 7010:2019 - Graphical symbols. Safety colours and safety signs. Registered safety signs for use across the EU (fire safety, emergency exit, prohibition, mandatory action, warning).
• Directive (EU) 2019/882 - European Accessibility Act. Applies from 28 June 2025 to products and services covered by the directive, including physical wayfinding elements in scope premises.
• Directive 2006/112/EC, Article 138 - VAT intra-community supply. B2B orders to VAT-registered EU companies are invoiced under the reverse charge mechanism.

Clients

Kyiv Stend supplies government agencies, universities, healthcare facilities, international corporations and small private businesses. Some clients we have worked with over several years across multiple sites; others place a single order for a specific project.

How we work

1. Enquiry. Send a request through the quote form or by email. Describe what you need or attach a reference sample, drawing or logo.
2. Brief and digital proof. We agree the sizes, substrate, print colours and copy. A digital proof for approval is prepared free of charge. Reasonable revisions are included at no extra cost.
3. Production. Typical lead time - 3 to 7 working days depending on complexity and quantity. Serial batches over 500 units - separate schedule.
4. Delivery across the EU. Shipped from Kyiv via Nova Poshta International, DHL, GLS or DPD. Typical door-to-door transit: 5-10 working days. Full details on the delivery page.

Documents and payment

Orders are placed under a contract with a pro-forma invoice. For B2B clients with a valid EU VAT number - the commercial invoice is issued under Article 138 of Directive 2006/112/EC (intra-community reverse charge), no Ukrainian VAT is charged. For B2C orders under EUR 150 - IOSS scheme, VAT is collected at checkout and remitted to the destination member state; no customs charges on delivery. Payment by bank transfer (SEPA / SWIFT).
