Cookie policy

This Cookie Policy explains how kyivstend.com.ua/en/ uses cookies and similar technologies. It complements the Privacy Policy and is drafted in line with Art. 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive 2002/58/EC (as amended) and Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR for consent-based storage.
1. What is a cookie
A cookie is a small text file stored by your browser on your device when you visit a website. Cookies allow the website to recognise your device on subsequent visits, remember your preferences, and gather aggregated usage statistics. We also use similar technologies such as localStorage and session tokens; where relevant they are covered by the same rules as cookies in this Policy.
2. Legal basis for using cookies
Strictly necessary cookies are set on the basis of Art. 5(3) ePrivacy Directive (exemption for storage strictly necessary to provide a service you explicitly requested).
All other cookies (analytics, marketing) are set only after you provide informed and freely given consent through the cookie banner. You can withdraw consent at any time by clicking "Cookie preferences" in the footer or by clearing cookies for this domain in your browser.

Google Analytics is loaded via server-side or client-side tag with IP anonymisation. Data is transferred to Google servers, including in the United States, under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework adequacy decision (Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2023/1795). No advertising features (remarketing, demographics) are enabled.
3.3 Marketing (set only after consent)
Currently we do not use marketing cookies. If we introduce them in the future (for example Meta Pixel for retargeting), this Policy will be updated in advance and consent will be requested through the cookie banner.
4. How to manage cookies
4.1 Through our cookie banner
On your first visit a banner appears at the bottom of the page. You can choose:
- Accept all - allows necessary, analytics and marketing categories;
- Reject non-essential - only strictly necessary cookies are set;
- Customise - opens a panel where you can toggle each category individually.
Your choice is stored for 12 months. To change it later, click Cookie preferences in the footer.
4.2 Through your browser
You can delete existing cookies or block future cookies through browser settings. Instructions:
Blocking strictly necessary cookies may cause parts of the website (cart, login, order form) to stop working.
5. Third-party recipients
The only third-party cookie provider we may use, subject to your consent, is Google LLC (analytics). Their privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy. Data is processed under EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in technology, law, or our practices. The "Effective date" at the top will reflect the latest revision. Material changes will be highlighted in the cookie banner for at least 30 days.
