Prohibition and information signs

Kyiv Stend produces prohibition and information signs for shops, cafes, warehouses, parking facilities, industrial sites and municipal buildings across the EU. Pictogram-based signs - standardised

Pictogram-based prohibition signs (red circle with diagonal bar) are covered by ISO 7010 (graphical symbols for safety signs) and ISO 3864 (safety colours and geometric shapes). We produce the full ISO 7010 P-series - P001 general prohibition, P002 no smoking, P003 no open flame, P004 no thoroughfare, P005 not drinking water, P006 no access for unauthorized persons, P007 no access for people with pacemakers, and the full catalogue on request.

Text-based signs - custom specification

For text-only prohibition and information signs there is no ISO standard - each sign is produced against your specification. Send the text, target size, mounting location and we quote the appropriate material and format. Standard sizes we hold as templates: 200x100 mm, 300x150 mm, 400x200 mm. Custom dimensions - no problem, we quote from a single unit.

Materials

• PVC 3 mm - the standard for indoor signs. UV-printed graphics on white or coloured base. Mounted with 3M double-sided tape - no drilling required, works on gypsum board, painted plaster, tile, glass. Standard workhorse for shops, offices, warehouses.
• Aluminum composite (Alucobond) 3-4 mm - for outdoor installation, transport shelters, industrial fencing, chain-link fences, profiled sheet metal. UV-stable, moisture-resistant, does not warp in sun over years.
• Transparent acrylic 3-5 mm - when the wall pattern should show through the sign or when you want a premium look on reception, showroom or representative entrance signage.
• Polystyrene HIPS - lightweight alternative for large-format indoor signs where PVC weight becomes a factor.

All materials are printed with UV inks (indoor) or solvent inks (outdoor) for long-term colour stability. We do not offer stainless steel or brass - these are outside our current production scope.

• Multiple signs of the same type - batch pricing applies from 10 units.
• Multilingual signs (EN + local language, for example EN + DE or EN + PL) - no extra charge, standard EU-format requirement.
• Corporate identity signs (brand colours, logo, custom typography) - free design mock-up before production starts.
